I had a GREAT workout last night, and the way you feel after that carries on with you and gives you lasting energy, a sense of balance between the mind and body, and makes you feel happier (endorphins are racing!) One workout I swear by is cardio kickboxing, and last night’s class was super intense, so I’m feeling good! These are some of the reasons I stress that everyone should do something to move their body and exert energy for at least one hour each day.
Anyway, I followed up my workout with a fantastic 8 hours of sleep, and then woke up to the warm, gleaming sun beaming through my windows. I think it’s safe to say I’ve got my sassy pants on today my friends! 😉
That being said, I decided to add a little more spice to today’s smoothie by blending in an abundance of cinnamon – about 2 tablespoons, which is more than my average boost which is about a teaspoon. This spicy, sweet addition to my smoothie is prolonging the benefits of last night’s workout by making me feel energized, awake, and nourished.
